ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Welcome o­n board
Leave Hanoi by private car/van at 8:30am arriving at the jetty around 12:30pm (on request).
Welcome o­n board of Halong Ginger and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming o­n a quiet beach or sunbathing o­n the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fishmen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.
At sunset time, kayak or symply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back o­n board Halong Ginger , enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant.

Day 2: Halong Bay Cruise
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Car is awaiting for you there and transfer you back to your hotel or residence in Hanoi.

Day 2: Halong Bay Cruise & Kayaking
After breakfast, transfer with a private crew and a support boat to our day-trip cruise to the bay’s most untouched areas for kayacking.
Enjoy swimming in deliciously cool, emerald-green water; basking o­n quiet beaches; and exploring tunnels and caves cut into the rock. Soak up the vibrant atmosphere as we cruise around fishing villages, or take in things at your own pace in a kayak.
Lunch will be prepared by a private chef and served o­nboard. Late afternoon return to the Ginger Cruise for Sunset and Dinner.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Greet the new day with some Tai Chi exercises as the sun rises o­nce more over the bay. Enjoy an elegant continental breakfast before we visit a beautiful limestone grotto to admire its many unique rock formations in the area of Bai Tu Long Bay. Then it’s back to the boat to form your final lasting impression of Halong Bay’s awe-inspiring beauty as we cruise back to the dock.
Car/Van is awaiting for you there and transfer you back to your hotel or residence in Hanoi in the afternoon (on request)

While the view is undoubtedly the best feature of each of our ten guest
cabins, guests will also appreciate the rooms’ tasteful décor and
furnishings. To complement the bay’s natural beauty we have outfitted
the cabins in natural materials: wood floors covered with sedge mats;
walls covered with woven bamboo panels; and ceilings decorated with
bamboo panels hand-painted with a ginger motif. The standing shower,
meanwhile, features mosaic tiles in Ginger flower patterns.
